Retail space
This 19th century space in Westchester County NY was originally a general store, a history to which our designed boutique pays clear homage. Lots of unfinished or hand-burnished and waxed reclaimed barn wood was used for the shelves and cabinets, some of which were topped with thick Carrara. We modeled the apothecary on an 18th century chemist’s in London, but ours uses hand floated glass and mirrors, and Italian bronze antique hardware.
